IREKIERA
Irekiera is the opening event of BBDW25 and kicks off the week by placing Regenerative Design at the center, through international experiences that showcase its real-world application and transformative potential.
The session will feature two international leaders: Jan Boelen, Belgian curator and designer who runs the Atelier LUMA laboratory in Arles (France), a pioneer in connecting design, territory, and ecology; and Jenny Andersson, a British strategist, activist in the European regenerative movement, and creator of the Really Regenerative Centre, specializing in leadership and eco-social transitions.
All this with Maitena Salinas as master of ceremonies and with an introduction by Elisa de los Reyes from Pez Estudio on behalf of the curators of this year's edition.
The day will combine inspiring talks, open dialogue, and creative moments, creating an event that is both reflective and celebratory. It will be an opportunity to be inspired by transformative ideas, to meet others, and to kick off a week dedicated to transforming emergency into possibility.
The talks will be in English. Simultaneous translation into Spanish will be available.
Attendance is free, but registration is recommended to reserve a spot.
