Bideotikan Talks

Ilithya is a multidisciplinary artist and technologist from Mexico, currently based in Hamburg, Germany. With a degree in Marketing and self-taught in programming, she creates art that combines code and algorithms, exploring on-chain generative art, machine learning, and digital media. Specialized in shader creation using OpenGL Shading Language, her work ranges from physical installations to real-time audiovisual performances. Since 2009, she has also designed websites, and in 2016, she began teaching creative coding workshops. Her work has been exhibited internationally on platforms like the Centre Pompidou, Digital Art Month Paris, CADAF Art Fair New York, Bright Moments Mexico, and Bideotikan Bilbao.

Jon Astorquiza is a multidisciplinary artist and project director focused on innovative artistic experiences. With a degree in Fine Arts and a master’s in Cultural Business Management, he has directed the International Conferences on Art and Technology Technarte in Bilbao and Los Angeles for over 10 years, connecting artists who blend art, science, and technology.
Throughout his career, he has led high-impact cultural projects, such as art residencies in Antarctica and the Roque de los Muchachos Astronomical Observatory, as well as curating digital art exhibitions. In 2018, he founded ElektrART, a collective dedicated to immersive installations and video mapping. His work has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture as one of the top three national innovation projects and received the Aixe Getxo award in 2020. He also advises companies and cultural institutions in their transition towards innovative models.

Diego Urruchi is a transmedia filmmaker and producer with a solid background in the audiovisual field. He founded Media Attack in 2009, specializing in innovative multimedia projects. Throughout his career, he has developed numerous projects focused on technological innovation and new audiovisual formats, organizing the Transmedia Day and founding the Next Station lab. In 2022, he took on the management of La Perrera, a space dedicated to fostering STEAM talent and creative technology. Diego has produced award-winning documentaries like 160 Metros and Mama, which won the 2022 Goya for Best Documentary Short Film.
