Do you have design biases? Do you recognise the biases of those who have designed certain objects, products, messages, images, processes or services?
We will collectively reflect on the testing of a playful artefact, to introduce a feminist and intersectional gaze on the practice of design. A puzzle about the biases, roles, stereotypes or values that, either consciously or unconsciously, inform the design of new products, services, experiences or policies, present in everyday life. A transformational proposal, both for the design sector and for design-based work for other sectors (consumption, urban planning, industry, institutions, education, etc.). An exercise in awareness raising and positioning concerning ethical principles such as equity, sustainability and accessibility, as elements inherent to the practice of design. A game to explore what pluriversal design would look like, to address our different transitions as a society.
