Bideotikan 30" museoa
Reclaiming the city's screens as a space for digital art
Bideotikan is a digital art festival focused on exhibiting, disseminating and providing education about contemporary visual arts. From 4 to 24 November, its screen circuit turns Bilbao into a digital art gallery accessible to all, projecting the works of 15 local and international artists on screens located in iconic places such as Azkuna Zentroa, the Bilbao Tourist Office, the Ribera Market, La Perrera and Aplimedia.
The works are integrated into the normal screen programmes, creating an ephemeral museum that surprises passers-by and invites them to delve deeper into this artistic and digital experience.
In addition to the circuit, the festival also includes workshops, round tables and audiovisual performances to encourage reflection and dialogue on the intersection between art and technology.
The 2024 edition focuses on generative art and explores how autonomous systems can produce art using parameters set by artists, redefining human-machine collaboration.
Organised by Asociación Develop and Media Attack, Bideotikan brings together artists experimenting with machine learning, generative algorithms and creative programming to challenge and push the boundaries of artistic perception.
