Getxo Sormen Hub is a centre for entrepreneurship in the creative and cultural sector located in Algorta (Getxo).

Getxo Sormen Hub is an ecosystem managed by the Getxo City Council Economic Promotion Department. It is aimed at projects and companies linked to the creative and cultural sector. Services: business advice, professionalisation, networking, entrepreneurship centre, events, etc.). The Getxo Sormen Talks will be held at the Getxo Sormen Hub.

Getxo Sormen Talks is a series of inspiring talks by leading figures in the cultural and creative industries sector who share their learning and experiences. After the talk, there will be a more informal space for professionals in the sector to meet.

On this occasion, there will be a talk by Bernd Karlsboeck, Circularity Expert at Nacar Design (located in Getxo). The talk will take place at the Getxo Sormen Hub, located in ‘Urgull Zentroa’, in Algorta.

Bernd Karlsboeck is an expert in circular economy and has experience in developing award-winning physical, digital and AI products and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour. His experience includes leading HP Inc.'s industrial design team in Barcelona and co-founding its innovation group. He advises international start-ups on go-to-market and UX tactics and is recognised for his dedication to sustainability as an official advisor to ACCIÓ on innovative projects related to climate change mitigation. 

Nacar Design is a design agency based in Barcelona. With offices in Getxo and Guadalajara (Mexico). They devise and design sustainable solutions for people, businesses and the planet. Industrial, digital and service design.
